Having spent a significant portion of my life marketing, selling, and gaining press for Residential Real Estate Developers and Real Estate Firms, I’ve seen my share of good, better, and the best marketing that Real Estate has to offer on an International scale.
During my consulting assignment with, Ciel, from April 2016 until July 2019, I was given the task to market a luxury community overlooking Asheville, North Carolina. I have learned throughout my property career that began in Houston, Texas and quickly led to 16 years in Central and Eastern Europe to only work with the best. Cut out the mediocre, immediately. I chose Tyler Maxwell who had done videos for Elle Decor Magazine and Website and thought he’d be the perfect fit for the filming of 565 Elk Mountain Scenic Highway in Asheville to give our target market, the HNW second home buyer, a look at the privacy our Estate land sites had to offer and to showcase the show home. You’ll notice that in the video below that no detail is left out, we are bringing the viewer to the property directly, intriguing them to either buy online or at least come have a look.
As a Real Estate Broker and an interior decorator, it’s very important that once you get the potential buyer to your listing that the home shows in the best light possible. This is achieved again by working with the best people in the business that deal with either organizing your clients home or someone that specializes in staging homes to show functionality of space and a bit of a canvas as to what the homebuyer can expect when they purchase and move into the home.
Not only does a Real Estate Broker or Sales Associate need to be able to market your home in it’s best light and get it in front of your target clients, but that Broker or Sales Associate needs to be able to count on their Real Estate Firm to carry through the marketing that their agent represents to the greater media and to the world, if necessary. I would say buyer- beware here, its important to check into the firm’s complete marketing portfolio before listing with them. The marketing must be consistent throughout the firm. That said, not only does it need to be consistent, it needs to be thorough, fresh, creative and reach the audiences of today through social media, internet, and lifestyle marketing.
